Facelift for Domino is demonstration code, not production at this time.  However, it does have some interesting features and concepts that are worth further investigation. All the code is contained within a Facelift Notes database.

Install:

Go to the download page and download the Facelift database.  All the code is contained within it.  Read the Using This Database document for a few installation gotchas.  You should sign the database with the appropriate ID for designing code in your environment and you should change the security from Manager.

What's in the Database:

All the code for Facelift is contained in the Facelift database.  The database contains a wizard for creating facelifted views in your target database.  A future version will also contain a wizard for facelifting a form.  After the wizards are run, there will be new design elements in your target database.  By default these wizards are creating code references back to the Facelift database.  You are free to make the necessary changes to modify so that your database can run "stand alone" and not require the Facelift database at runtime.

Where is the Facelift Wizard for Views:

In the Facelift database, go to the Actions Menu and choose Create | View Template For.  This will prompt you for the path to the target database, and then the target view you wish to facelift.  More detailed instructions and the expected results are available in the
Facelift a View document.

How do I Facelift a Form:

Right now, you add 2 lines of passthrough HTML to your Form.  There is a wizard that is being created that will be put in the next code update.  Detailed instructions are available at
Facelift a Form.
